Hiring remote talent in LATAM: the map of who hires what

We are not an agency or an EOR. We are a radar: every day we check the career sites of 112 startups and scaleups across Latin America and note what opened. This page is what the radar sees, unfiltered and without a pitch.

Which roles LATAM is hiring right now

Each number is openings live today at startups and scaleups in the region. If you are about to open one of the roles at the top of this list, you are not competing alone.

Where the demand is

The countries with the most open positions. It is a proxy for two things at once: where there is a real startup ecosystem, and where the talent that already knows how to work inside one lives.

Which industries are moving

The split by vertical says a lot about which profiles you will find with prior experience and which ones you will have to train.

How remote this market really is

Out of 10,111 active openings, 1,093 are posted explicitly as remote: 11%. That is well below what the conversation about remote work in the region suggests, and it is useful if you hire from abroad: most of these companies still think locally, so a remote offer competes against fewer alternatives than it seems.

What this page is not

Let's be clear, because plenty of people sell this:

  • We do not recruit. No sourcing, no candidate screening, no placement fees.
  • We are not an EOR. We do not hire on your behalf, run payroll or sign contracts.
  • We do not post jobs. We detect them from each company's official career site. Startups do not pay us to appear and there is no way to buy a spot on the list.

What we do have is the map: which roles are moving, in which countries, in which industries, updated every day.

How to use this data if you are hiring

  • Size up your competition. If there are dozens of open roles like yours in the country you are looking at, your offer is being compared against all of them.
  • Calibrate the work model. With most of the market posting on-site or hybrid, a well-paid remote position stands out more than you would expect.
  • Pick the market by ecosystem, not by population. Per-country counts tell you where startups are actually hiring, which is not always where the most people live.
  • Come back. This page moves with the inventory: in two weeks the numbers are different.

Are you hiring in LATAM?

We sell nothing to companies today. But if this data is useful and you need a finer cut — by role, by country, by industry — write to us and let's talk. No pitch.

Frequently asked questions

How do you hire remote talent in LATAM from a European or US company?

You need three things: a legal way to hire (a local entity, an EOR, or a contractor agreement depending on the country), a salary band that competes with the local market, and a channel to find people. This page covers the third one with data: which roles are open, in which countries and in which industries.

Which tech roles are most in demand at LATAM startups?

The three with the most open positions right now are Sales, Engineering, Data & Analytics. The full list, with a count for each, is further up this page and updates daily.

Which LATAM countries are best for hiring remote tech talent?

It depends what you are after, but the volume of open positions is a good first filter: it signals where there is an active startup ecosystem, and therefore talent with experience in that context. The countries with the most demand today are Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile.

Is TrabajaEnLatam a recruiting agency or an EOR?

No. We do not source or screen, we charge no placement fees and we hire nobody on your behalf. We are an aggregator: we detect openings that companies already published on their own career sites.

Can I post a job on TrabajaEnLatam?

No. We accept no submissions and no payment for placement. Listings are detected automatically from the official career sites of the companies we track, and that is precisely what keeps the inventory clean.

Where does this data come from?

From the official career sites and ATS of 112 startups and scaleups across Latin America, checked daily. We do not use reposts from mass job boards or data bought from third parties.

How often is it updated?

Monitoring is daily. The last data close for this page is August 12, 2026, and the figures above correspond to that moment.
